Once again it’s ON! Submissions are now open!
Going into our third year, we’ve hosted dozens of National and Michigan comedians and entertained thousands of comedy fans across some of Traverse City’s best venues to generate millions of laughs, making the Traverse City Comedy Fest one of the best comedy festivals in the country and northern Michigan as a premiere comedy destination!
We pride ourselves on producing shows for everyone and for every price point. From comedy shows from clean to dirty, to some of the best improv in the country, not to mention roast battles, comedy rumbles, and even something for murder mystery fans, we’ve got it all for you at the Traverse City Comedy Fest!
Your submission does not guarantee a roster spot.
This is my first time submitting for the Traverse City Comedy Festival. I’ve been doing comedy for 20+ years. I’ve performed at Mark Ridleys Comedy Castle. I’ve hosted several times at One Night Stan’s . I’ve done shows with the Funny Spot, Motown Mark, Doomsday Shelter, Sara Young Productions, MicOholics, Great Lakes Comedy, The Comedy Series and The Future of Comedy Show as well as several bar shows and showcases. I am always grateful for the opportunities I am given and bring zero drama shows or the scene. I’d consider my style of comedy relatable light hearted I’m not clean but not overly vulgar or dirty. Marriage, Parenting, Health Issues, My Life’s Stories etc. I love making people laugh.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Hello,
This is not the submissions form. That is at the top of the home page under our pulldown menu as “2025 TCCF SUBMISSIONS”
Is there a way to suggest comedians we’d like to see at the festival or are you only considering submission from the comedians themselves?
Is mark the headliner for the whole festival ie the biggest name?
Dan Soder would be amazing, he’s on the Regs podcast with Joe List (who was here last year) and used to host the Bonfire with Big Jay Okerson who had arguably the best set when The Fully Loaded tour came last summer. Sam Tallent is another brilliant comedian who’s had sets at the local comedy club.
A lot of events are too boomer focused, Mark is old and bitter; let’s compensate by giving gen x and millennials something to laugh about. 🙂 that being said – Tim Dillon is just what this town needs though after the election. Jimmy Dore is a good alternative.
I could list 15 more that would be great
We don’t usually take suggestions because our lineups are built to accommodate all kinds of comedy fans from Boomers to Millenials. Mark Maron is just one of several main headliners that we have coming to the festival. We’ll be announcing the other headliners one at a time and the entire festival roster by end of January 2025.
Stay tuned…
