SamRose Entertainment, Michigan’s top comedy producer, is excited to revive the comedy club vibe in Lansing with a summer full of laughter! “The Teachers’ Lounge Comedy Showcase” features four of Michigan’s funniest comedians: local favorite Johnny Mocny, the hilarious Ella Horwedel, Eileen Nolton, and Justin Seymour from Indianapolis. Hosting the event is Sarah Marchi.\
Johnny Mocny: A Michigan comic since age eighteen, Johnny blends wit and satire. He’s opened for famous acts and won the 2023 Comedy Rumble at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. Johnny also hosts the podcasts We Are Movies and Chinese Rocket Force.
Eileen Nolton: A beloved comedian in Michigan, Eileen brings a unique perspective to life’s absurdities. Formerly an elementary school teacher, she covers various relatable topics and has performed with notable comedians across multiple venues.
Justin Seymour: A former psychology teacher, Justin’s darkly humorous take on life is derived from his unique experiences. He’s performed in festivals like Miami’s Vice City Comedy Festival and has appeared at various comedy events.
Sarah Marchi: Sarah captivates audiences with her lively insights on her life experiences, including her struggles with depression and daily adventures. When not performing, she’s busy gardening or starting new projects.
